Original art work. Love the T-shirt. Then why not buy the original artwork?
Collages from the new collection will be available to buy online soon. In the meantime, contact Adam Frederickson via the Contact form to arrange a studio visit.
Abstractionista. “Abstractionista” is the latest collection of collages by artist, Adam Frederickson. In it, he uses a series of motifs inspired by camouflage painting techniques (as seen on naval warships) and incorporates them into precisely cut and partly painted paper collages. The collages are then hung individually, or more frequently as polyptychs to create larger scale works, or sometimes incorporated into sculptures.
Dimensions. Frame A2 (420x594mm); artwork A3 (297x420mm)
Frame and mount. The work is supplied in an A2 wooden black poster frame, with a choice of a black or white mount. It is made from engineered wood and has a Perspex front.
If you wish to upgrade your frame or mount choice, you can discuss this with the artist when he contacts you about shipping post-purchase.
Shipping. We currently only ship within the UK; delivery is included in the purchase price. Once your order has been placed, the artist will be in touch to discuss your delivery date and any other relevant information, such as your choice of mount.
About the artist. Adam Frederickson is a predominantly self-taught artist, working out of 401 1/2 Studios in London since June 2025.
Although the work he produces differs considerably in terms of technique, style and medium, certain themes consistently underpin his creative process, in particular:
- Art as inspired by philosophy, especially existential theory;
- His admiration for abstract and early modernist art;
- Trying to create sculptural form and physicality, even in 2 dimensional work;
- Producing work that uses objects recycled both from nature and human activity.
